I am an artist in Ajo, AZ at the Curley School which is now a live/work residence for a variety of artists from all over the country. Check out www.curleyschool.com and this will give you insight to the background and information about this historic building and the small town of Ajo. Fused glass art is completely different than blown glass or stained glass work. Neither of those go into a kiln. I purchase specific glass made for fusing. I use a lot of iridescent glass known as "irids" and dichroic glass. Both are specialized coatings on the glass that reflect light. Please read more in my artist statement. If you think my work is beautiful as a photo, you will absolutely love it when you see it in person. |

I promise you won't be disappointed! Many pieces with dichroic or irids will pick up different colors depending on the lighting and if you have a piece of jewelry on, it will change depending on what you wear! Fused glass jewelry, home and office decor make great gifts. I also do various Judaica pieces and plan to do more in the near future. So, if you see something you like, but prefer a different base color or have a request, let me know. We now have a gift shop here at the Curley School, so if you are going to be in SW Arizona, drop me a line and come see my work. Several artists will be having an Open Studio on December 23rd and our gift shop will be open for last minute gifts, on December 24th. |
